There are 11 Official Languages of the Northwest Territories. These are Inuktitut, Inuinnaqtun, Inuvialuktun, Gwich’in, North Slavey, South Slavey, Tłı̨chǫ, Chipewyan, Cree, English, and French.
Other common languages spoken in the Northwest Territories include Tagalog, Spanish, German, and Vietnamese.
